In this regular webinar we took a look at the current price action in cryptocurrency heavyweights Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) and looked at any news that may be making waves in the markets. We also took a look at how overnight trading and volumes may help us to determine moves in European hours and discussed how a larger market may bring in more investors and traders. We also touched upon the need to stay disciplined when trading digital tokens as price volatility is high.
Discussions include –
- Bitcoin’s market capitalization touched that of financial payment giant PayPal earlier in the week. Will blockchain become the pre-eminent financial payment network?
- BTC’s and ETH’s volatility make it a good trading vehicle but care must always be taken, discipline is a must and ongoing education extremely important
- Ethereum is pushing higher with talk of a new upgrade, Metropolis, and news that Microsoft will unveil a new Ethereum-friendly blockchain.
- While trading digital tokens can provide opportunities, not everyone may be comfortable with the asset’s volatility.
