Some of the financial market's most volatile-inducing and trend-generating fundamental themes are facing key catalysts in the upcoming trading session. The speculative ranks are no doubt already marking the countdown to China's 2Q GDP, Greece's deadline for reforms and Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen's testimony; but all three deserve much closer review. If we look back to the most aggressive and pervasive market moves over the past weeks and months, particular developments stand out.
