U.S. GDP Growth Disappoints By 0.1%

Today’s GDP results for the U.S. economy was below the 0.8% forecasted by economists ending up with a 0.7% QoQ growth for the last quarter of 2015.

The U.S. GDP QoQ growth has been decreasing over the last two quarters from a +3.9% QoQ in the second quarter of 2015 to a + 2.0% growth in Q3 2015 to end-up 4Q 2015 at +0.7%.

After the GDP announcement, the USDOLLAR trades to the upside, keeping its upward momentum that started after the BoJ decision to have negative interest rates.
