Equities charged to a record high in US and European trade. If this were the only or best measure of investor appetite, it would seem the markets are roaring...but they are not. Looking to emerging markets, the FX carry trade, high-yield and other asset classes sensitive to the ebb and flow of capital return versus risk of loss; there a scale of performance that trails the performance seen in equities.
