This past session was marked by a global sell off in equities, and the natural inclination by traders is to look for evidence of a lasting reversal. After more than six years of speculative buildup, the investing ranks are either wary of a turn or awaiting the exceptional opportunity that it will present. Whether capricious or chomping at the bit, the market is highly sensitive to such uniformity against such a high profile trend. Yet, this move is well established in speculative appetite, external reinforcement and ultimately a sense of complacency.
