There is considerable room for the US Dollar to collapse should Taper expectations falter or the S&P 500 to pitch into free fall should risk overwhelm moral hazard hopes. One theme will not persist alongside the other for long - and therefore the simultaneous USDollar and S&P 500 bull trend is destined to end in pain for one leg of the relationship. However, until that resolution is found, trades founded on breakout and momentum will continue to struggle.
