Forex Analysis: DailyFX Webinar Schedule: Week of January 27, 2013

DailyFX Research Team,

Standard volatility indexes from the equities markets have leveled off with the VIX at a five-and-a-half year low below 13%. The S&P 500 is at a five-year high having run a 7-day consecutive rally (the most consistent advance since 2006). These are statistics that on one hand suggest quiet and steadfast markets (which is detrimental to the volatility that FX would thrive on); but on the other, these are also extremes that point to a contrarian situation where volatility is more likely to return.
