Looking for USD/CHF reentry; Short AUD/JPY

Looking for USD/CHF reentry; Short AUD/JPY

Christopher Vecchio, CFA, Senior Strategist

I will continue to buy USD/CHF on dips (already saw another dip to 0.9120 yesterday). Targets to the upside are: 0.9182, 0.9226, 0.9275, as noted earlier. Ideal entry comes in between 0.9105/0.9120. Stop below 0.9070/90 support, for now.

I initiated a short AUD/JPY trade this morning at 83.816. The Stop on the trade is 84.000, with subsequent targets coming in at 83.319 (20-HMA), 82.768 (200-HMA), 81.948 (20-DMA), and 81.272 (200-DMA). A hit of each target level moves Stop up; Stop moves to 83.816 (Entry) from 84.000 if first target of 83.319 is hit, etc. The Stop will be triggered upon a daily close above 84.000, or a definitive move to 84.200.
