EU lauches EUR 200bln economic stimulus plan. Commission President Barroso said EUR 170 bln will be supplied by member countries and EUR 30 bln will come from EU funds. He stressed the need for coordinated action and said he hopes to create millions of jobs in the future. Barroso said he wants to avoid a "hangover of debt" but stressed the economic stimulus plan is powerful. No details on actual measures so far.
