The BoE reoffered this week's exceptional OMO fine tuning of GBP 25B in today's regular OMO operation, leaving to total amount offered at GBP 66.21B. On Monday, the BoE offered GBP 5B in an exceptional 3-day repo issuance, followed by another 20B 2-day issuance on Tuesday. Funds obviously have not been sufficient to ease money market tension and with today's announcement, the BoE will initially offer USD 40B per day in overnight funds.
