President Bush and Congressional Leaders Agree on Automotive Bailout Outline

President Bush and Congressional Democrats have agreed upon a draft that would aid the ailing American automotive industry. With $15 billion in the works set to be loaned out to General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC., U.S. trading hours could see substantial equity buying. In turn, risk-aversion may abate, leading the Dollar towards a selling spree mode. Traders may want to reconsider long positions on the U.S. currency for the meantime as volatile trading may be just around the corner in the coming hours.

Dow Jones and S&P 500 futures are currently trading 0.608% and 0.663% higher.
