Japanese Vehicles Sales fell -27.3% on an annualized basis in November. The plunge marks its steepest decline since at least Q1 1980, when the metric's data registration began. The last times the figure fell by nearly as much was during the East-Asian Financial and Long Term Capital Management failures in 1997 and 1998, respectively. This month's release marks the fourth consecutive month that auto-sales have fallen in the Asian country. October sales fell -13.1%
