    Hi sundar63,

Thanks for using the Micro Forum! Let's take a look at your questions...

How do I receive price/strategy alerts via mobile phone SMS?

There are several different ways to setup alerts with FXCM's various platforms and services. Here are the 3 main ways to do this:

Trading Station II Price and Strategy alerts that can be setup inside Trading Station II (via email)
Price and News Alerts that can be setup through DailyFX (via SMS)
DailyFX+'s Trading Signals through DailyFX+ (via SMS or email).

    Hi sundar63,

Thank you for posting on the forum! Allow me to answer your question specifically...

Are the DailyFX Trading Signals SMS Alerts free to foreign Micro traders?

Currently, when you login to DailyFX+ Trading Signals with your Live Micro account number and password, you will see a small tab labeled "Alerts Preferences"

This button will open up all of your options for your free trading signals. You can select to receive alerts via email (all clients) and there is also an option receive alerts via SMS (United States Clients).

I understand you are from Malaysia and cannot use the SMS option directly, however there may be a way to receive SMS alerts to your phone from the email field.

Ask your mobile phone carrier if your phone supports email-to-sms messages. If it does, you will have an email address for your phone that will convert these email alerts and send them as SMS to your phone. For example, in the United States, if your phone number was 1234567890 and your phone carrier was AT&T, your email-to-sms email address is "1234567890@txt.att.net". Placing that email address in the email alerts field will send sms alerts to your phone!

Let me know what your phone carrier says. You may be able to find your email-to-sms address via online search. Look forward to hearing from you!
