    Dailyfx Netdania Charts

    Hello,

I have some confusion as to the utility of the parameters "period" in Netdania charts at Dailyfx.

It would be great if somebody can confirm how exactly this parameter is used in the calculations.

    Thanks,

    Falkor

    Any details on this? Anybody?

Becoz the way this parameter functions is pure suspect. It doesnt behave in a conventional manner. What exactly it does is good to know becoz it is one of the best place to check the Monthly pivots, and if it calculates the Q/Yearly pivots.

    Thanks,

    Hey Falkor,

When you are selecting the period for the pivot points on Netdania, that is selecting the bar you want the pivot points to be calculated with. leaving this at 0 will give you the current pivots. Putting a number like 50 will create pivots based on the candle that happened 50 candles ago.

Let me know if that makes sense.
