France's Constitutional Council rejected the law. Because a married couple where one spouse makes over a million. Could pay more in taxes then a married couple where both spouses make close to a million. They will just rewrite the law. Its really no big deal. Anybody with serious money already left France.

two items to keep in mind on the fiscal cliff:

    1. does not matter if either the Senate or House vote on a bill (even successfully), it requires both to pass the exact same bill and for it to be sign by the President. So a vote by the Senate does nothing but send it to the House. If the House changes anything it starts a new round of negotiations (I'll skip all the back and forths of passing a law)

this is bad for those holding the Euro up hoping the deal gets done.

    2. Any bill will most likely be retroactive to the beginning of the year (2013) and will not really effect many. So the deadline is a bit false.

This is good for those holding the Euro up hoping the deal gets done.

As always, it's not exactly straight forward.

With Reid delaying any votes until Monday, we are now virtually assured the fiscal cliff issue will not be solved tomorrow. To much to do and too little time.

somewhat shocked the Euro is sitting dead still, actually 13 pips up from close, with the fiscal cliff issue. Given the volatility we have seen associated with announcements in the past 10 days or so I am having some difficulty as to why it is staying aloft.

Euro is approaching what seems to be a very strong support at 1.316.

if it can be breached, then I see next level of support at 1.310.

    Lets see what happens.

EUro is kinda simple on charts at the moment..
3200 is immediate resis and a clean break takes it to 3230-32.. At the present don't see it going beyond it, but will have to see.. For the moment 3200 is acting in well, and I'm currently into selling EJ on rallies.. 113.86-91 would be nice to sell EJ and possibly hold it...
Will see how it goes.. for now even 3200 seems difficult for euro..
A break of 3160 jeopardizes the up momentum and risk would be towards 3110-14 but now seeing a greater possibility of 3020-25 playout..
I'm simply scalping at the moment and will be done in an hr for I'm still on vacation..

    GL...
Patience is virtue. The sooner we learn this all, sooner we can start walking to the bank. Good Luck to all of us—
The trick is to wait the price meet ur limits, instead of one jumping in.. however scalps is a totally different scenario and is not everyone's cup of tea
Disclaimer: I'm not at all suggesting trades when by either posting the graphs, or my entries. You can view it, but in the end you have to use your own logic and approach, as there is no certainty about this uncertain market...
