MT4 has an option not sure about other platforms. I set it depending on volatility, for this pair usually around 15-20pips depending.

Be careful if you are short. So far the decline is in three waves with wave C = wave A at 1.3182. Might be a good place to get long. Just a thought....

Allow one more low and 1.3370 is a better target....

Thanks for the video analysis Sal. I have bookmarked your site now.

I was not planning to trade again until the new year, but when I woke up this morning I saw a great opportunity to short and so I took it. My only regret is that I did not go big, but I had to leave right after placing the order to chaperone my daughter's school field trip and I don't like big positions left open while away for so long.

Below shows the reason I went short and price did come within 15 pips of reaching my target. What I saw this morning, price has been looking overbought for a few days and it was approaching the upper part of an ascending channel, plus getting close to a new 8h time frame, I could short with a very tight stop. My stop is currently at +35, but depending on how price reacts before going to sleep, I may manually close the trade.

Now I have an alarm set to go off if price hits 3150 as I want to watch price action to decide if it is time to enter long. Hopefully price drops that far, but not too early in the morning as I would rather sleep.

Thanks Brian, That was a nice short area you took. I thought we would surge higher but took a quick 20+ pips. Didnt like how we closed down. I just got hit short at 1.3225. tight stop in place and from here we will see if we dive or fly again. BTW the FXCM mobile text alerts are great.

This looks like a nice short correction, but prediction is EUR USD will still go long until 2013

There are still many stops to run until the rich guys close out their long positions for tax purposes before the end of the year.

Young traders beware and Good luck trading.

    Anyone Else See This?

This is an ugly Daily Eur Usd Candle Close. A red line, not a Doji even.
