Your chart shows that the longer term impulse wave was completed, but I do not think it has just yet so I do not see an impulse wave coming to the downside. I think we should be drifting upwards the rest of day unless some big news comes out that changes things.

    Only one possibility

This is an USDCHF chart... I'm too tired to draw the EURUSD as well; just invert the chart and voila...

It is only one of many possible EW outcomes for UC & EU pairs, but I like this one because it would drive BOTH bears and bulls crazy for some days, hehe

Perfect for range traders though; that is, until the triangle breaks

Logging off now. I'm so tired that I'll sleep the whole day... good day/night everybody.

I understand and agree with what you are saying. There are different degrees of trend and I am looking at an isolated sub-wave of a higher degree impulse move for scalping. On a daily chart, this is a wave 5. See the following chart:

Interesting, I have Marketscope 2.0, the pivots are redrawn at 17:00 est. My R1 pivot on the bid is 1.29740 and on the ask side is 1.29806. That is a 6.6 spread, normal at 17:00 time frame but the average spread I get on my micro account is between 1.3 and 1.8 during active trading. I guess we just have to use the pivots as rough guides, like +/- 10 pips

Seeing the bigger view helps me see what you are seeing. At this time of day it is time to do something else instead of looking at charts.

    Have a wonderful day!
