Hello azhar751, and thank you for your post! On behalf of myself and everyone here at FXCM, welcome to the forum community!

What depositing options do I have if I am a resident of Pakistan?

Your depositing options will depend on whether you are opening a standard or a micro account. Please click on the link below that corresponds to the account you are interested in for more information:

Please note that at this time we do not accept credit or debit card deposits from Pakistan, and at this time we do not have an estimated time of arrival (ETA) on when we will be accepting them. When you are depositing funds by credit or debit card at if your country of residence does not appear in the drop down menu, then that means we do not accept credit or debit cards from that country.

What other depositing options do I have?

You can also deposit funds by bank wire. Please keep in mind that the minimum deposit for bank wires to FXCM Micro accounts is $1000.

Please click here for more information about depositing funds to an FXCM Micro account by bank wire.

If you don't mind me asking, how much capital were you thinking about getting started with? I ask because standard accounts also have the functionality of trading micro lots (increments of 1K) available and offer many advantages over micro accounts.

What advantages do standard accounts have over micro accounts?

One of the advantages of having a standard account is more depositing options. Standard account clients can deposit by credit / debit card (as mentioned before some countries may not be able to however, such as Pakistan), bank wire, paper check, automated clearing house (ACH) or electric funds transfer (EFT). Some more advantages to holding a standard account include but are not limited to:

    • Different account denominations.

    • Different account types and platforms.

    • Plus much more!

Please click here for more information on the advantages of having a standard account.

The minimum starting balance for a standard account is $2000. Please let me know if a standard account would be something of interest to you, and I will be more than happy to put you in touch with a specialist that can go over all your options. If you are looking to open a micro account, you can open one by clicking on the link below:

Please let me know when you have submitted your application and I would be more than happy to help you with the depositing process.

What can I do if I want to deposit less than $1000, but I cannot deposit by credit or debit card?

This type of situation is handled on a case by case basis. Since this involves discussing specific account information I will send you an email in order to best assist you. Thank you in advance for your time azhar751, and I look forward to being in touch with you soon.

How can I ask you a question privately if I don't want to post my question on the forum?
