It is said that only the market can determine what is 'correct' and valuable. Given the positioning of the majority determines direction and momentum for price, there is truth to that belief. However, sound analysis can identify a fundamental gap in where sentiment stands currently and where it may head in the near future. Therefore, we should not abandon our analysis of the markets to take constant reads on the short-term temperature of the mass's general psychosis (unless we are technical scalpers). Instead, we can establish these fundamental/technical gaps and identify what behavioral trigger can send reality flooding in and the market moving.
